The increase in downloads of Free Fire has been accompanied by a growth in the number of hacks and hackers. Some players use modified APK files and third-party software or tools to gain an unfair advantage in Garena's flagship battle royale title.

Fortunately, Garena has adopted a strict and severe approach, banning several players with suspicious gameplay. They have been handing out bans to users who have allegedly been involved in hacking or other illegitimate activities to cheat in Free Fire and its MAX variant.

However, the question that is quite prevalent among Free Fire users is whether Garena will revoke these account suspensions or not. The following section will explore the possibilities and circumstances under which an account gets banned and if there is a way to reinstate it.

Players get barred from playing Garena's survival shooter whenever they cheat to gain an unfair advantage. These illegitimate methods include the following:

  • Due to the use of the unauthorized or modified game client.
  • Due to the use of unauthorized tools or softwares that affect game clients to get an unfair advantage.
  • Use of non-official game boosters, programs, or tools.
  • Modification of model files.
  • Unfair utilization of bugs and glitches in the game.
  • Getting mass-reported by fellow users or getting self-detected for abnormal gameplay.
  • Trying to bypass Garena's anti-hack system.

Sometimes, these bans are temporary, and the account gets restored after a few days. However, in many cases, the ban is permanent, and sometimes, Garena even ensures that the device itself that players use is banned, thereby preventing them from making new accounts on it.

If found guilty, Garena will ban players' accounts and any request to alter that decision will not be entertained. Any player found using unjust or prohibited methods in Free Fire will not be able to get their account unbanned.

However, if players think that their account has been banned for no valid reason and have never used any cheats or hacks, they should follow the steps given below to submit a request:

Step 5: Choose the following options:

  • Type of Request - Game concerns
  • Type of Problem - Technical issues

Step 6: Players must elaborate on the issue in the description (banned by mistake, in this case). They must explain their problem in the description box and submit the request.

The request will remain under review, and players can check the same in the Help Center through their profile. If the request is genuine and players are not in the wrong, Garena might consider the request and revoke the ban.

However, if players have used hacks, they should forget about Free Fire due to Garena's strict policy.
