Brazilian powerhouse Fluxo emerged victorious in the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2024 Global Finals. The club exhibited convincing performances in the Grand Finals, held on November 24, 2024. The members of this roster were also the champions of the 2023 edition while playing under the banner of Magic Squad. The club walked away with a cash prize of $300,000.
Fluxo scored 86 points in the six Grand Finals matches, securing three Booyahs and 36 eliminations. The club ranked seventh in the overall standings after the fifth match, but managed to bounce back in the final game and topped the overall points table. Fluxo athlete Bops, in particular, displayed thumping performances in this Free Fire event.
RRQ Kazu from Indonesia grabbed the second position with 83 points and one Booyah. The Indonesian team was at the top of the table after the fifth match, but unfortunately slipped to second place after the final round. The squad was awarded with the first runner-up prize of $150,000.
FFWS 2024 Finals overview
The World Series 2024 took place from November 8 to November 24, 2024, in Brazil. The top 12 teams from the Knockout Stage fought against each other in the Grand Finals on Sunday. This edition of the FFWS featured a total prize pool of $1 million.
Buriram United Esports, from Thailand, demonstrated its supremacy in the initial stages but stumbled a bit in the Finals. The experienced lineup claimed third position in the overall rankings with 78 points. Their star player, Wassana, was the MVP of the tournament. The organization earned $70,000 in prize money.
E1 Esports, from Brazil, secured fourth place in this Free Fire event. The squad posted 74 points on the scoreboard in the Finals. Twisted Minds, from Thailand, claimed the fifth spot, while Pain Gaming managed to secure the sixth position. Vietnam's WAG had an average run, as the side came seventh in the FFWS.
Interestingly, Team Falcons, the winners of the Free Fire World Cup (FFWC) 2024 back in July, finished eighth in the FFWS 2024. Brazil's Corinthians came ninth after their mediocre performances. HUA, from Vietnam, also struggled in the Finale and ended up in 10th place.
Bigetron Delta faced hard challenges in the Grand Finals as the Indonesian club ranked 11th in the overall points table. Lastly, Attack All Around had a horrendous run in the Finale, as the Thai lineup landed in the last spot, with only 19 points.
