Garena has announced the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Thailand 2025 Spring. Registration for the event began on December 20, 2024, and will be open until January 7, 2025. The Qualifiers will be played online from January 18 to 27, while the Grand Finals of the tournament will be held from January 28 to 31. The total prize pool of the World Series is around $14,468.
Teams will look to start their Free Fire 2025 season on a high note and win the first title of the year. Team All Gamers have already earned a spot in the event from the FFWS SEA 2024. The tournament will be played following a 12-point scoring system. The winning team will qualify for the World Series 2025 SEA Spring.
In-game settings for FFWS Thailand 2025 Spring
Here are the in-game settings that will be used during the event:
- Disable gun stats from weapon skins
- Enable the revival system
- Enable In-game Mission
- Disabled In-match Quest
- Close the High Tier Loot Zone system
- Enable the rear camera angle after being eliminated
- Enabled the same character view system
- Disable the display of character names in the game
- Turn off the Kill Feed report display system
- Enable the system to prevent the use of game emulators that are played on computers (Emulator)
Scoring system
Garena has not made any changes to the scoring system for the upcoming World Series. Here is the placement points distribution for each match:
- 1st place: 12 points (Booyah winner)
- 2nd place: 9 points
- 3rd place: 8 points
- 4th place: 7 points
- 5th place: 6 points
- 6th place: 5 points
- 7th place: 4 points
- 8th place: 3 points
- 9th place: 2 points
- 10th place: 1 point
- 11th place: 0 points
- 12th place: 0 points

The Qualifiers will be played in five different rounds. The top 18 teams will then fight in the Grand Finals. Garena will share other details, such as the event's schedule and map orders in the upcoming weeks.
Each of the participants will strive to conquer their first regional event of the year and represent their country in the FFWS 2025 SEA Spring. The top teams from Southeast Asia will compete against each other for a huge prize pool.
