What type of improvements can you expect in enhanced PS5 Pro titles?
The new PlayStation 5 Pro has three major improvements compared to the base model:
- Its larger GPU allows for 60 FPS in Fidelity mode.
- Advanced Ray Tracing effects to provide even higher levels of graphical fidelity.
- AI-driven PSSR upscaling feature to boost the image quality at 4K.
With these three improvements, expect the enhanced games to look even better and less blurry in terms of image quality since the older FSR 2 upscaling technology is being replaced with the new AI-powered PSSR tech. The new games can also run at 60 FPS in Fidelity mode, which was impossible with the base PlayStation 5.
The pricing of the PS5 Pro is quite steep and comes with no pre-order bundles or accessories, which may disappoint some fans. However, you can expect Sony to provide some bundled deals as we get closer to the availability of the new console, on November 7, 2024. The PlayStation 5 Pro will also be compatible with existing accessories.
