Samsung is keeping the legacy of flip phones alive with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and it is quite a conversation starter. This phone comes packed with some of the best features available in today's market and would honestly make for a good comparison against the Apple iPhone 15 Pro. While they're not neck and neck in terms of performance, they do an even ground when it comes to cameras, battery, and a few other features.
If you're in the market looking into buying either of these phones, you might be confused as to what would suit your needs. To help you make an informed decision, we have put together a thorough comparison where we compare the two devices based on aspects like specs, performance, camera, and more.

Apple iPhone 15 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6: Specifications
Both the Apple iPhone 15 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 are based on completely different form factors. But that doesn't mean they're that far off in terms of the features. Right off the bat, they feature very different processors, with the iPhone 15 Pro featuring the A17 Pro chip compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on the latter.
The displays aren't that different though as they're both relatively the same when it comes to screen size, just that one is foldable. However, let's be real, the display on the Apple iPhone 15 Pro is just far better than Samsung's as the OLED looks way better and much more vibrant.
Here's a side-by-side comparison of the specifications of the two phones:
One thing I'd like to add is that you can even game on the second display of the Z Flip 6. It doesn't add to anything and is just a little addition, but honestly, it looks quite cool to play powerful games like COD: Mobile on such a small screen.
Speaking of prices, as you can see above, even the top-end variant of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is cheaper than the iPhone 15 Pro. For a foldable phone, a $1000 price point is not that bad. However, the 128GB variant of the iPhone is the cheapest option here at $999, which is quite a nice offer for the value it provides.

Apple iPhone 15 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6: Performance
Apple iPhone 15 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 are a bit different when it comes to performance. For starters, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a faster 12GB RAM and a processor that performs better than the latter when it comes to multi-core performance. However, the iPhone 15 Pro would be a better bet if we're talking video editing and multitasking, as they're usually much smoother.
It isn't an apples-and-oranges comparison though, as both phones give relatively decent performance, whether that's for gaming or CPU-heavy work like video editing. You'd be well off with either one, in this case, to be honest.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6: Camera
Stepping into camera territory, it goes without doubt that photos on the iPhone 15 Pro tend to look better. Both phones feature a similar camera resolution of around 50MP but due to the different sensors, they look slightly contrasting.
Also, both phones shoot 4K resolution video at 60fps, so they're almost equal when it comes to that. The only difference here would be the coloration and clarity. Again, the iPhone looks better than Samsung's camera due to a much more clearer and vibrant video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 would be a better bet for close-ups and macros as the background blur is just more creamy and natural, which makes it look nicer in my opinion. However, if we're talking portraits, landscapes, and even night photos, the 15 Pro takes the cake.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6: Final Verdict
Based on our review, we feel buying the iPhone 15 Pro would be the better choice if your primary requirement is performance and camera abilities. The iPhone is simply smoother and much more efficient compared to the Z Flip 6.
However, if you want a phone out of the ordinary and want to try flip phones for a change, do go for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. The flip feature is not just a gimmick as the phone actually packs a punch when it comes to performance, camera, and even battery life.
