The Nvidia RTX 3070 and 3070 Ti were launched for 1440p gaming in the last generation. They continue to be superb GPUs for playing the latest games like Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail. The long-running MMO is receiving a massive graphics update with the latest DLC. However, it is still quite well-optimized on PC and runs at high framerates on some powerful GPUs.
In this guide, we will list the ideal graphics quality settings that can play Final Fantasy XIV at the highest FPS on the RTX 3070 and 3070 Ti.
Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail graphics settings for Nvidia RTX 3070
The Nvidia RTX 3070 is a 1440p gaming card at its heart. It can keep up well at this resolution in Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail. You can run the game at pretty much the highest settings and still get over 100 FPS without breaking a sweat.

Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail graphics settings for Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti
The Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti is slightly more powerful than the original 70-class offering. Thanks to slightly higher core counts, you can get extra FPS in Dawntrail. We still recommend sticking to 1440p in the game, however, for the best experience.

With the above settings applied, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail runs at high framerates. You still get pretty decent visual fidelity while avoiding any framerate drops below 100. The 3070 and 3070 Ti are quite capable, and you can turn off DLSS too. However, we don't recommend it if you're targeting more than 120 FPS.
