At CES 2025, Dell shocked the world by killing its iconic Inspiron and XPS PC lineup in a bid to impress Gen-Z users. Similar to Apple devices and names such as Pro, Pro Max, and Pro Max Ultra, Dell released its latest line of laptops and PCs. The company also launched a whole bunch of fresh monitors.
In this article, we will get into all of that and explain everything you need to know.

Dell's new rebranded Laptop and PC lineup
Dell is on a rebranding journey and wants to change its existing product lineup. Even the iconic and decade-old product lineups, such as Inspiron, XPS, Lattitude, Precision, and more, will soon be completely gone.
In fact, none of the new Dell products launched at CES 2025 sports either Inspiron or XPS. Therefore, clearly, the company is quite active in the rebranding phase. The new Dell laptops and PCs are now categorized into three lineups: Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max. To add to that, each lineup comes in multiple variants.
Here's everything you need to know about the fresh laptops and PCs from Dell:
Dell
The Dell is the new laptop and PC lineup that caters to everyday computing needs for school, work, and play. This is for users who want an affordable machine that gets the job done. You will find the new Dell PCs in three variants:
- Dell Base: The base variant is the cheapest and has just enough capabilities to do basic tasks.
- Dell Plus: The Plus variant has some extra bells and whistles to provide a better experience to its users.
- Dell Premium: This variant has the highest-grade quality and will deliver the best experience in this lineup.
They also come in 14-, 15-, and 16-inch screen sizes, so the proper designation for these fresh laptops could be Dell 14 Plus or Dell 16 Premium.
Dell Pro
The Dell Pro lineup is designed for industry professionals who require a productive powerhouse of a machine. Essentially, if you do photo and video editing, transcoding, or any other production workload, a Dell Pro laptop or PC will serve your purpose. Like the previous lineup, the Dell Pro laptop and PCs come in Base, Plus, and Premium variants.
They also come in 13- and 14-inch screen sizes, so these can be referred to as Dell Pro 13 Plus or Dell Pro 14 Premium. The exact model depends on the size and variant.
Dell Pro Max
The last laptop and PC lineup is the Dell Pro Max, which is what you would want for maximum performance. If you need extreme performance or want to do the highest-grade 4K Ultra gaming, a Dell Pro Max PC fits the bill. It also comes in Base, Plus, and Premium variants like the other lineups.

Dell's Ultrasharp monitors
Dell introduced the UltraSharp lineup of monitors recently, so this branding stays. In fact, the company launched new UltraSharp monitors at CES 2025.
Dell 32 Plus 4K QD-OLED Monitor
This flagship-grade monitor from Dell delivers stunning image quality, thanks to the use of a QD-OLED 4K panel. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate, along with Dolby Vision and VESA Display True Black 400, to provide an even better visual experience.
Dell UltraSharp 27" and 32" 4K Thunderbolt Hub monitors
The new Dell UltraSharp Thunderbolt Hub monitors come in two sizes: 27" and 32", but the hardware that powers them remains the same. These models have IPS Black panels with 4K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The aforementioned fresh IPS Black technology is different from the traditional IPS panels and offers 47% higher black levels, which should reduce the IPS Glow seen in other monitors. The display will also have an 89% better contrast ratio. These models come with VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, so they will deliver higher brightness.
This concludes our article on all the latest Dell laptop PCs and monitors. The new branding could be the change Dell needed to grow in the computer market. However, whether that actually happens remains to be seen. The PC market hasn't quite seen the rebound it has been waiting for, so we will just have to wait and watch.
