Apple's iOS 18.2 update is about to be released soon, and it will include a whole bunch of new Apple Intelligence features. Apple's implementation of AI in the iPhone is called Apple Intelligence, and it is significantly different from what you find in other phones like Galaxy AI. Even though the end goal of Apple Intelligence is similar to others, it is considered a more cohesive offering by many.

However, a lot of the features promised initially were delayed. Those AI features are now coming to iOS as part of the iOS 18.2 update, along with a bunch of other features.

In this article, you will find everything you need to know about the Apple iOS 18.2 update, including when it will possibly be released.

Here are all the new features coming with iOS 18.2:

1) ChatGPT with Siri

ChatGPT will now be integrated with Siri, so it will be able to use the AI's processing capabilities to generate answers to your questions. You can also associate images and documents with your questions for an even better response.

2) Image Playground

It allows you to generate images on the go using a few simple prompts. However, if you want more personalized images, you can choose themes, outfits, and even locations. Let your creative ideas flow, and Image Playground will do the rest.

3) Tap to pay with Apple Cash

This feature works similarly to NameDrop, which first appeared with the iOS 18 update. You no longer need to go through multiple steps to send money to someone. Just enter the amount, bring your iPhone closer to your friend's iPhone, and it will transfer immediately. That's how easy it is to send money now.

4) Smart Script

It can convert your handwritten note on your iPad to actual text in any font. Thanks to the natural language processing capabilities, all your handwritten notes will appear in an easy-to-read text.

5) Magic Wand

Magic Wand can bring any text or scribbles you drew with an Apple Pencil to life. For example, do a basic shading of the Eiffel Tower and circle it with an Apple Pencil to turn it into an actual image of the place.

6) Clean Up

The Clean Up features can intelligently remove unwanted persons and objects from your photos. All you need to do is circle the object or people you want to remove, and they will disappear without leaving any spots.

7) iMessage via Sattelite

Previously, you could only send short emergency messages via Satellite. Now, you can send any message you want, and they don't necessarily have to be emergency messages. Key iMessage features such as Emoji, quotes, and Tap Back can be sent via satellite. These messages will be encrypted as usual.
