The new Intel Battlemage GPUs, Intel Arc B570 and B580 are about to be released into the wild. These new GPUs offer a great price-to-performance ratio for users looking to buy next-gen hardware. From the looks of it, Intel wants to compete hard in the mid-range category, especially considering the sub-$250 price point they launched at. While the Intel Arc B580 will be available for purchase on December 13, 2024, the B570 will hit store shelves on January 16, 2025.

This article will cover everything we know about the two new Intel Battlemage GPUs and discuss how they will compare to AMD and Nvidia graphics cards.

Most details about the Intel Arc B570 and B580 GPUs were revealed before their official launch. Videocardz was the first to reveal the specs of the Intel Arc B580, and within a few hours of that post, a leaker by the name of Roland Quandt posted the full specs of the Intel Arc B570 on BlueSky.

Thanks to their combined efforts, we got a glimpse of the specs even before the two GPUs launched officially, and these leaks were accurate to the dot.

Intel has now published the full specs of the Intel Arc B570 and B580. Here's the full list:

Will there be a higher-end Intel GPU like Intel Arc B750 or B770?

Intel didn't announce anything about an Arc B750 or B770. According to renowned leaker Moore's Law is Dead, Intel may have delayed or canceled the Intel Arc B750. If the news of a delay is accurate, the GPU will likely not release before late 2025. Meanwhile, with the Arc B570 and B580, Intel is focusing specifically on the mid-range category

What kind of performance improvements will the Intel Arc B580 bring over its predecessor?

Intel revealed that the Intel Arc B580 is 24% faster on average than its predecessor— the Intel Arc A750. However, the performance uplift is larger in certain titles. For example, the new Arc GPU is 56% faster than its predecessor in Assassin's Creed Mirage and around 78% faster in Fortnite. Unfortunately, the performance figures of the Intel Arc B570 are not available at the moment.

According to the official slides that Intel presented, the Intel Arc B580 is 10% faster on average than the AMD Radeon RX 7600 and the Nvidia RTX 4060 in both raster and ray tracing. However, these are first-party numbers, and you should wait for independent benchmarks before you choose to buy the new GPUs.

What is the price of Intel Arc B570 and B580?

The Intel Arc B570 and B580 are priced at $219 and $249 respectively, which is cheaper than the price tag of both AMD Radeon RX 7600 and Nvidia RTX 4060. It seems Intel wants to undercut its competitors by offering the new graphics cards at attractive prices.

When will the Intel Arc B570 and B580 be released?
