Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth PC system requirements revealed

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is coming to PC on January 26, 2024, and the system requirements have been unveiled. Thankfully, the next installment of the long-standing Yakuza franchise is also a cross-generation game. While this might disappoint some players, it means that the game will be much easier to play at a high frame rate.

Unfortunately, we do not have the information on how to play the game at 60fps, etc. If this information comes to light, we’ll update accordingly.

However, thanks to Steam, fans now know exactly what they need on their computers in order to play the game. We’ll go over everything we know about the upcoming Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s PC system requirements below.

PC System requirements for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

As is tradition on the Valve-owned platform, the upcoming mainline RGG title will only have the minimum and recommended specifications on the platform. Should SEGA reveal further details, we will update it here.

Minimum specifications

• OS: Windows 10 (requires a 64-bit processor/OS)
• Processor: Intel Core i5-3470 (3.2 GHz) or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 (3.1 GHz)
• Memory: 8 GB RAM
• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (2 GB), AMD Radeon RX 460 (2 GB), or Intel Arc A380 (6 GB)
• DirectX: Version 12
• Storage: 2 GB available space

Recommended specifications

• OS: Windows 10 (requires a 64-bit processor/OS)
• Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 (3.6 GHz) or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (3.2 GHz)
• Memory: 8 GB RAM
• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (6 GB), AMD Radeon RX Vega 45 (8 GB), or Intel Arc A750 (8 GB)
• DirectX: Version 12
• Storage: 6 GB available space

The PC system requirements are very interesting for Yakuza 8, now titled Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. We aren’t very sure if an Nvidia GTX 960 will be good enough to run this game at a minimum. Even if this game is released on the PlayStation 4, that GPU does not seem powerful enough.

Another interesting discrepancy is the storage space required. A game rarely has two different storage requirements for minimum and recommended unless it’s taking into account DLC. However, most of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s DLC will likely be features and items, which won’t take up that much more space.

The storage space for these PC system requirements seems to feature a glaring typo or two. There is simply no way this game will be able to be contained in 2 GB. Considering Yakuza: Like a Dragon required 50 GB at the minimum, it’s unlikely the newer game will require less.
