macOS Sequoia is all set to launch on September 16, 2024. Fans have been eagerly awaiting its release since it was first unveiled at WWDC 2024 on June 10, 2024. The new Sequoia version comes with improvements to the various aspects of macOS, and new features like Apple Intelligence, which is also launching on iPhones.
However, Apple Intelligence will not be a part of this update, unlike other features. It will arrive later as a part of the macOS Sequoia 15.1 update. You will find the countdown for the release of macOS Sequoia below.

When does macOS Sequoia release?
The new macOS Sequoia update is all set to be released on September 16, 2024, at 10 AM PDT/1 PM EST/10:30 PM IST. Here's a universal countdown to the release of macOS Sequoia:
macOS Sequoia has been in public beta since July 2024, and now, with the stable release, many MacBook and Mac users will be able to use its features.
Apple Intelligence is one of the most hyped features of this macOS update. It taps into Apple Silicon's Neural Engine to process language, images, or any other context to deliver what the user asks for, all the while protecting their privacy. It will transform apps such as Notes, Mail, Pages, Photos, and even third-party apps. Apple Intelligence will continue to be developed by Apple, and more features will be added in future macOS updates.
