The Nvidia RTX 5080 is expected to launch at CES 2025, along with other RTX 50 series GPUs. With the Nvidia CES event just hours away, more leaks have come forward. The latest leak comes from X user, Алексей (@wxnod), who leaked a few retail boxes of the Gainward RTX 5080 GPU. This user previously leaked a few RTX 30 and 40 series correctly, so this leak holds some credibility.

This article analyzes the new Gainward RTX 5080 leak and what it could mean for gamers.

Note: This article is based on leaks that are subject to change. Readers are advised to take the information here with a pinch of salt.

Gainward Nvidia RTX 5080 boxes leaked online

This isn't the first time the Nvidia RTX 5080 has leaked online. Previously, an MSI RTX 5080 Gaming Trio box was leaked online by Chiphell forums but was quickly taken down. The image was a bit blurry, so the details were hard to read. However, a much better picture of the RTX 5080 box has appeared online, thanks to the X user, Алексей @wxnod.

The GPU in question is the Gainward RTX 5080, and its boxes mention 16GB of GDDR7 memory, which aligns with previous leaks. The boxes also state three years of warranty, which is standard in the graphics card market. Other than these, not much is on the front of the packaging.

The box doesn't showcase the GPU design, so details about the graphics card's size and slots are still a mystery. With that said, here's an early list of specs of the RTX 5080 based on previous leaks:

More details about the Nvidia RTX 5080 should be revealed at the CES 2025 event, scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm PST/9:30 pm EST on January 6, 2024.
