PowerColor has teased a new Red Devil graphics card
PowerColor posted a few teasers of what is believed to be a new Red Devil GPU on X. The teaser showcases a familiar red theme with an LED glow at the end of the graphics card.
The company didn't specify whether the GPU in the teaser is the Radeon RX 9070 XT that leaked online. Since PowerColor is an exclusive AMD partner, chances are it is a new Radeon RX 9000 series card. Whether it is the Radeon RX 9070 XT remains unconfirmed.
The teaser image also showcases three fans and possibly a 3-slot design. However, it doesn't indicate if the power connectors used in the GPU are traditional 8-pin or newer 12V2x6 ones.
Leaked specs and performance of the Radeon RX 9070 XT
According to previous leaks, the AMD Radeon RX 9000 series graphics cards will supposedly be powered by the Navi 48 and 44 dies. The former is the top die, which is expected to power the flagship Radeon RX 9070 XT with 16GB memory, while the latter should go into mid-range and budget cards.
According to the leaks, the flagship GPU will reportedly deliver a similar rasterization performance as the Radeon RX 7900 XT and could be close to the Nvidia RTX 4080 in ray tracing. More details should be presented at the CES 2025 event, which is only a few hours away.
