Nvidia's GeForce Now is one of the most prominent cloud gaming platforms. Millions of gamers across the world have had access to it for a while now, but the service was not made available in India. However, Nvidia has just announced its plans to roll out GeForce Now with dedicated Indian servers to offer an exciting gaming experience.

Nvidia has officially announced its plans to extend the GeForce Now cloud gaming service to more regions, including India and a few Latin American countries. The Indian gaming market is witnessing rapid growth, and Nvidia wants to capitalize on that by bringing its cloud gaming to the country.

The company is expected to set up its first local data center in India by the end of H1 2025. This data center will be equipped with Nvidia RTX 4080-enabled servers to provide high-performance gaming for its users.

When will you be able to play games via GeForce Now in India?

The GeForce Now service should go live in India by the end of H1 2025, although Nvidia hasn't provided an exact date. We will learn more about it as we approach its release.

Nvidia has also announced its plans to bring GeForce Now to the Steam Deck. Team Green is developing a native SteamOS app for the handheld and plans to offer up to 4K60FPS gaming performance through the app.

The app will also support HDR in Steam Deck OLED or when connected to an external display. To be clear, GeForce Now is available on the Steam Deck via a community installation method. However, a dedicated app will allow users to game with ease and make the installation process a whole lot simpler.
