Both the Galaxy S24 Plus and iPhone 15 Plus have a 6.7-inch OLED panel with support for high brightness. The Samsung smartphone's display provides up to a 120Hz refresh rate, while the iPhone's offers a 60Hz refresh rate.

The Samsung device is better in the display resolution aspect, as its screen has much more sharpness. It comes with a resolution of 1440 x 3120 (2K), which builds up to around 513 pixels per inch (PPI).

On the other hand, the iPhone has a resolution of 1290 x 2796 or Full HD+ and has a PPI of about 460.

Both smartphones have powerful processors that will help you coast through daily tasks without any glitches.

On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Plus is powered by an A16 Bionic chipset, which is capable of undertaking high-end tasks and running numerous apps simultaneously.

When it comes to the benchmarks, the single- and multi-core scores of the 8 Gen 3 are slightly better. However, in real life or even while gaming, you would not feel much of a difference.

Samsung's S24 Plus features a 50MP triple camera at the back. The iPhone 15 Plus, in contrast, has a 48MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. Both smartphones have 12MP front-facing cameras to take selfies and record videos.

The iPhone 15 Plus has no focal zoom lens or telephoto lens. This means it cannot capture naturally zoomed photographs.

Even though both of these devices offer the same amount of detail in low light, they also have noise in their photos, with the shadow areas lacking detail.

Additionally, both smartphones are capable of recording 4K video at 60 frames each second and have Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). However, if you decide to record in 8K with the S24 Plus, the OIS will not work, resulting in shaky footage.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus comes with a 4,900mAh battery, while the iPhone 15 Plus has a 4,383mAh battery. You can charge the S24 Plus at up to 45W. Both phones come with wireless charging support at 15W, which you can use without plugging them into a wall outlet.

For normal use cases, both devices can easily take you through more than a day of utilization on a single charge. However, the iPhone 15 Plus has the better battery life strictly because it utilizes much less power than the S24 Plus. This is partially because it has a 60Hz screen refresh rate display, compared to the S24 Plus's 120Hz refresh rate support.

You do not get a charger in the box from either manufacturer.

The Galaxy S24 Plus comes with a faster refresh rate and sharper resolution. It also sports an extra telephoto camera and charges faster.

The iPhone 15 Plus does offer a bit more battery life, but it's really hard to make a case for it when the S24 Plus offers more value for your buck. It also matches the iPhone's long software update policy.
