Samsung's 2025 lineup of monitors
1) Samsung Smart Monitor M9 2025
The Samsung Smart Monitor M9 2025 edition uses a 32-inch OLED panel with 4K resolution to provide a crisp image quality. The refresh rate is set to 165Hz, which should be enough to satisfy many competitive gamers.
Also, since it's a smart Monitor, it has an entire Tizen OS Home operating system built into it, which is similar to what you find on Samsung's TVs. Therefore, the Samsung Smart Monitor M9 can be used as a standalone TV or monitor when hooked to a desktop or a laptop.
The Smart OS will allow you access to a wide range of streaming services, including Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV+, and more. There's also a Smart TV and Gaming Hub, which has a new 4K AI Upscaling Pro. It can upscale lower-resolution content into 4K content using machine learning. However, this technology is limited to that Hub and not available elsewhere.
The Samsung Smart Monitor M9 also has a 4K camera in the top bezel, which can be used for video conferencing.
2) Samsung Odyssey G6, G8, and 3D 2025
For the Odyssey 2025 lineup, Samsung revealed three models: Samsung Odyssey G6, G8, and 3D. Both Odyssey G6 and G8 feature a 27-inch OLED panel but differ in terms of screen resolution and refresh rate.
The Samsung Odyssey G6's display features QHD resolution and a whopping 500Hz refresh rate, which should be more than enough, even for the most hardcore esports players. This monitor might be the first consumer model with a 500Hz refresh rate.
On the other hand, the display of the Samsung Odyssey G8 has a 4K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. Both the G6 and the G8 are certified with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 for better color saturation and HDR quality. They also support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to deliver a tear-free and smooth gaming experience and are compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC.
Finally, there's the Samsung Odyssey 3D. This monitor is equipped with a 27-inch screen that allows users to see 3D content without needing a dedicated glass. Samsung uses a lenticular lens and a stereo camera at the front to track the user's eyes and displays the 3D effect in real-time. It also has AI and machine learning to convert ordinary 2D content into 3D, which should enhance the user experience.

3) Samsung Viewfinity S8
Samsung Viewfinity monitors are usually cheaper than their other lineups while offering a premium experience. The Viewfinity S8 should be no different. It is equipped with a large 37-inch screen with 4K resolution to deliver a sharp image quality. This makes it a significantly better monitor than its predecessor.
The Viewfinity S8 has a USB-C port for connectivity that can deliver 90W of power, which can easily charge most laptops. Apart from that, it also has a KVM switch to enhance multitasking.
