Gearbox Software has announced that their RPG first-person shooter title ‘Borderlands’ will be released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms. Fans of this series have been waiting for a next-gen release of the game and it looks like they have a cause to celebrate finally. Titled “The Handsome Collection”, the bundle includes Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 2 and consists of all the DLC’s released for both titles.
The Handsome Collection comes with updated HD graphics and four-player split-screen. In addition to this, the players can transfer their saved files to the new-gen versions, instead of starting a new game and it is said that the collection will support cross-save functionality as well.
The collection is scheduled to release on March 24th in North America and worldwide on March 27th. You can expect more details on this game out of PAX South this weekend.
