EA Sports came in with a sharp reply:

The striker then delivered a serious burn, trolling the makers about their infamous servers:

In case you didn't know

Batshuayi has had a long-standing feud with EA Sports and FIFA over his player rating. In FIFA 17, his rating was 81 with a pace score of 80 and a shooting score of 83.

In FIFA 18, his pace was reduced by one point.

The heart of the matter

The Belgian has a chance to improve upon his rating by featuring in the Team of the Week Special Edition cards, if his on-field performance shows significant improvement.

He may also get an upgrade in January or in the summer. But until then, the Belgian is stuck with an 80 rating.

What's next?

Batshuayi opened his goalscoring account on Tuesday after netting a goal in Chelsea's 6-0 thrashing of Azerbaijan champions Qarabag, in the first round of the Champions League. However, Blues fans were unimpressed by his performance. Out of the six goals, Batshuayi had only contributed one solitary goal in the 76th minute.

The FIFA 18 demo version was also made available for download recently and the full release is slated for September 29.

Sportskeeda's take

The Belgian is a talented player and it is understandable that he'd be upset about getting a lower rating than last year. His sense of humour though, cannot be doubted as he absolutely destroyed EA Sports with his hilarious comeback.
