It’s not just the villains that the hero of Dragon Ball Xenoverse will have to take on. At some point, you’ll even end up fighting the good guys. V Jump magazines latest issue has revealed that some of the games good characters will be turning bad, but not out of their own will.
Towa, the new blue skinned female villainess of Dragon Ball Xenoverse, will use her black magic powers to corrupt some the good guys, thereby turning them into a crazed “violent state”. When infected by Towa’s magic, characters will look as well as act evil, attacking the player on a whim. They will be surrounded by a purple aura and will even have bloodshot red eyes.
The V Jump issue showcases an evil Vegeta (not surprising), Piccolo, Gotenks, Hercule and even good ole Gohan and players may have to defeat them at some point. The characters will turn back to normal once defeated. Whether Towa turns characters at random or it’s all preplanned has not been revealed yet. If it is random then we can probably expect some more good guys gone bad.
Towa’s magic will have a huge impact on Dragon Ball Xenoverse. From turning good guys to making villains stronger and bigger than ever before, her magic is something to watch out for. Also, it’s been revealed that Towa is not the only one to possess this power.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse is slated to release on February 24th in North America and on February 27th in Europe after a slight delay. The game will be available for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC.
