Last week event’s producer Geoff Keighley had revealed on Twitter that Hideo Kojima, the maker of the Metal Gear Solid series, will bear the honor of debuting the online multiplayer element of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain at the Video Game Awards 2014. (View details here) .
True to their word Keifer Sutherland had taken the stage to bring out Hideo Kojima. Kojima then presented the first ever gameplay from Metal Gear Online leaving the viewers in awe of the awaited game.

The Multi-player mode of the game certainly grabbed the attention of one and all, which appeared to be more eventful and action packed in comparison to the stealth-based nature of the single player campaign.
From the footage that was shown on Metal Gear Online, it was a team death style match-up with Big Boss’ team going up against Ocelot’s team. It looks like Big Boss and Ocelot will be playable in the game, but players can also choose to be numerous different looking soldiers.
The controls in Metal Gear Online is similar to that of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Players can choose to scout and hunt enemies using stealth approach or rather proclaim fury by going wild and killing everyone in sight.
Players can take even take selfies in the game. Amongst the various features of the game the best was definitely the metal “chicken walker” like those seen the Star Wars films can be used.
Players can steal it from enemies and use it to kill enemies with ease. Thus, we can evidently conclude that Metal Gear Online looks very action-packed and different from any other Metal Gear Solid video game.
