Well, it’s not a big thing to admit that the Grand Theft Auto franchise is known well for their wide variety of music in their hugely-popular games. The latest in the best-selling series, GTA V, is also just the same. As per speculations, there is a plan to launch an exclusive new radio station for the release of the PC version which is round the corner.
The Developer Rockstar Games and Mass Appeal Records have joined hands together with The Alchemist and Oh No for a brand new soundtrack album for Grand Theft Auto V dubbed as, The Alchemist and Oh No Present: Welcome to Los Santos.The new soundtrack will be featuring music from a wide variety of artists such as Earl Sweatshirt, Little Dragon, Phantogram, Freddie Gibbs, Popcaan, Killer Mike, Tunde Adebimpe and Samuel T. Herring (from Future Islands). The album is set to release on April 21,2015 in stores.
The soundtrack will not only be available in stores, but also make its debut in Grand Theft Auto V on April 14th with the release of it’s much-awaited PC version. Everything will be featured in ‘The Lab’, a new channel available as one of the in-game radio stations.This new station will appear first in the PC title and later release on other consoles at a yet unknown date. The album’s tracks will also be available in the PC Rockstar Editor for players to use in custom made videos from the game.
Grand Theft Auto V is all set to release on PC in April 14th.Those who are interested in the music can listen to the album’s single ‘Play It Cool’ by Gangrene (The Alchemist and Oh No) featuring Samuel T. Herring (from Future Islands) and Earl Sweatshirt via SoundCloud.
