New teaser trailer revealed for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be officially revealed on April 26th

A new live-action teaser trailer has been revealed for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and it looks pretty interesting. The three-minute long trailer does not showcase any in-game footage, however, it does give players a decent idea of what the world of CoD: Black Ops 3 will be like.

The three-minute long trailer opens with a sentence which states that humankind has lost control of technology. The game is set in the near future in a time where advancement in technology has created some societal issues. The trailer has a pretty dark tone going for it, with some pre-apocalyptic themes. The main focus of the trailer is technology, body modification and soldiers with advanced technological upgrades.

Sadly the trailer does not showcase any actual gameplay footage. But since this is the Call of Duty franchise, there is unlikely to be any massive changes in gameplay, though it is a bit hard to tell now given that Advanced Warfare did introduce some big changes to the usual formula. It would be great to see what new features Black Ops 3 has in store for players. The trailer indicates that technology will be playing a vital role in the game, probably involving super soldiers and cyborg modifications.

We will probably receive some more details about the game when it is officially revealed this Sunday. But in the meantime, you can check out the live-action teaser trailer below:
