Super Smash Bros for Wii U gets a new update, brings 15 new eight-player stages!

There has been quite a silence regarding Super Smash Bros upcoming DLC but Masahiro Sakurai and company have managed to surprise players by releasing an update for the game out of the blue. The recent update for Super Smash Bros brings 15 new eight player stages to the game for players to wander into. As of now patch 1.02 is available for download , players will be prompted immediately after they boot up. Players must ensure that they have 316MB worth of free space before they download the patch. Unfortunately this update does not provide any new stages to the game but number of stages of the Eight-Player smash has a lot of content.

According to the official Japanese website for Nintendo, the following stages are now playable in Eight-Player Smash.
