In case you didn’t know...

FIFA 17 has been much applauded for its Frostbite game engine that allows for extremely realistic game physics and accurate player actions. The new engine, paired with lifelike player likenesses and stadium environments make FIFA 17 an engrossing game to play.

It is obvious that EA have put in a lot effort at taking into account the tiniest details in the game, especially with the newly introduced Journey Mode. The keen eye for detail is evident throughout the game and this video is just further evidence of this fact.

The heart of the matter

In order to ensure that his own players actually took a real beating, DailyTradingTips first turned up the injury frequency and severity settings in the game settings menu. To compensate for when the ball was with the opposition, two controllers were attached and each controller was assigned one team between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

He then proceeded to chase his own players down and get stuck in on them. In a slight glitch in the game, the players can be seen appealing for a free kick when they are being taken down by their teammates.

The efforts finally bear fruit after Cristiano Ronaldo clatters into Isco at full pace. The Spaniard seems to be in pain and is prostrate on the ground for a while. To his credit, the player limps to his feet and rejoins the game, fit to go on.

What next?

While Isco did manage to get injured, he could still limp around the pitch and take part in the game. The next target in FIFA myth busting could maybe be an attempt to injure a player so badly that he cannot play anymore.

Author’s Take

FIFA myth busting is a great way of conducted community service to the worldwide FIFA community who have tons of questions but are too busy playing another game of FUT to actually bother answering their queries themselves. YouTube channels like DailyTradingTips do a great job at such myth busting and we encourage them to keep the god work going.
