Russian Olympic Committee President Alexander Zhukov assured media on Thursday that there would be no discrimination towards athletes, fans or journalists at the Sochi Winter Olympic Games next year.
Alexander Zhukov, President of Russian Olympic Committee, said: “There will be no discrimination whatsoever with regard to sportsmen, fans, foreign journalists, and tourists who will come to Sochi, on race, gender or any other grounds.”
“The transport logistics have not been completed yet, not all transport facilities have been commissioned and not all hotel facilities are completed, which is also very important. Landscape work is also very important – we want the Sochi Games to look better than all others.”
