Durand Cup - Event Details
Durand Cup is the oldest football tournament in Asia, it was founded in 1888 and named after its founder, Sir Mortimer Durand who was Foreign Secretary in charge of India from 1884 to 1894. There are 20 teams involved in Durand Cup 2022, 11 teams from ISL, 5 from I-League, and 4 teams from the armed forces. The matches will be played in West Bengal, Assam and Manipur, i.e in Kolkata, Guwahati and Imphal, with games being played in 4 different stadiums in these cities.

All eleven ISL teams are taking part in Durand Cup 2022, the first time the tournament sees a full house from the ISL.
