Mick Schumacher is a German racing driver who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Alpine and serves as a reserve driver in Formula One for Mercedes. Mick is the son of the seven-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher, the nephew of former Formula One driver Ralf Schumacher, and the cousin of sports car racing driver David Schumacher.
Mick competed in Formula One from 2021 to 2022, debuting at the 2021 Bahrain Grand Prix, driving the No. 47 for the Haas team. However, his practice debut was at the 2020 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, where he drove for Haas instead of Kevin Magnussen. He later appeared for Haas at the post-season young drivers’ test.

Mick Schumacher's Early Life
Schumacher started competing in motorsports in 2008 under the pseudonyms Mick Betsch (his mother’s maiden name), and Mick Junior to avoid any attention because of Michael Schumacher (his father). Schumacher participated in Karting and was a runner-up at the junior direct-drive Karting World Championship in 2014. The following year, he moved to junior formulae and finished runner-up in the ADAC F4 Championship and the Italian F4 Championship in 2016.
Schumacher’s journey took him next to the MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship where he finished third in 2016 and 2017. In 2018, Schumacher moved to the FIA Formula 3 European Championship and won the championship with Prema. The following year, Schumacher graduated to Formula 2 for the 2019 season and won the championship in 2020. In the same year as his Formula 2 debut, Schumacher joined and became a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy (2019-2022). He was a test driver for Alfa Romeo and Haas in 2020 and later signed with Haas in 2021 and debuted at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
