The Travellers Championship is a PGA Tour professional golf tournament in Cromwell, Connecticut, south of Hartford. The event has been hosted at TPC River Highlands since 1984. The Greater Hartford Community Foundation is in charge of its management. The PGA Tour members vote on the Travellers Championship every year, and the event's amenities, hospitality, attendance, and course quality earn it the Players Choice Award for the second year in a row. The 2016 competition was held in August owing to the Summer Olympics, but in 2017, it was moved to June.
