Rachael Denhollander became the first person to publicly accuse Larry Nassar of sexual assault when she took her story to The Indianapolis Star in September of 2016. For the first time, one of his victims was not ignored, as he was arrested just three months after Denhollander went public with her story, and he has not been free since.
