Jade Carey is a Professional American Artistic Gymnast. She was born on May 27, 2000, in Phoenix, Arizona, USA and currently resides in Corvallis, Oregon, USA. Carey started training in gymnastics at the early age of two, being the daughter of Brian Carey and Danielle Mitchelle Greenberg, who both are former gymnasts themselves who now work as artistic gymnastic coaches, where Brian Carey continues to work as Jade Carey’s trainer.

Her professional journey in gymnastics began with the 2016 Junior Olympic Nationals completing a tucked Kasamatsu, which is now named “The Carey”. She completed her high school at Mountain Ridge High School and then graduated from Oregon State University. She is one of four siblings alongside Alexsis, Taeva, and Xandon. Taeva and Xandon have followed in the family’s footsteps by participating in Gymnastics and Soccer respectively.

Jade Carey has participated in only the 2020 Tokyo Olympics so far. There, she won a gold medal in the Artistic Gymnastic Women’s Floor Exercise Team Category. However, the team finished eighth in the Women’s All-Around and Women’s Vault categories. Now, Carey is all set to represent her country at the Olympics for the second time at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
