Jordan Lucella Elizabeth Chiles is an artistic gymnast who represented America at the Paris Olympics and won a silver medal in Tokyo 2020. Jordan Chiles was named after Michael Jordan and was nicknamed “Chick”. Since childhood Jordan was an active child, 6-years-old enrolled in recreational gymnastics classes, where she was promoted to pre-team just by one class, at the age of 11, Chiles made it to her first national team and international assignment.
Born on April 15, 2001, in Tualatin, Oregon, Chiles grew up in Vancouver, Washington with her four siblings. In 2019, had moved to Spring, Texas, to get trained under Laurent and Cecile Landi along with Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles. Since 2013,Chiles has been a member of the United States women’s national gymnastics team. In 2021, Chiles was the first-ever women’s all-around Winter Cup champion. At UCLA, Chiles is majoring in sociology.
