Olivia Paige Dunne's gymnastic career began at the tender age of three driven by her desire for a sparkly pink leotard. During the 2013/2014 season, Dunne became the youngest athlete to qualify as a Junior. International Elite. She shone at the 2015 American Classic finishing eighth in the all-around, and earned a spot at the P&G National Championships. In 2016, Dunne won medals on floor and beam at the P&G Championships.

The Hillsdale, New Jersey-native joined the USA National Team and won gold at the Jesolo Trophy competition in Italy in 2017. That spring, she committed to LSU on a full athletic scholarship for 2020. She kept on winning the medals at the US Classic and P&G Championships.

Dunne's senior debut came in 2018 competing in Jesolo and at the US Classic and USA National Championships. By the fall of 2019, she had signed her National Letter of Intent to LSU dominating Level 10 competitions.

By May of 2023, Dunne held the record for the highest NIL valuation at $3.3 million for women’s college athletes. Some of her sponsors are Grubhub, Vuori, Bodyarmor, and American Eagle Outfitters. In July 2023, she launched The Dunne Fund to help female student-athletes secure NIL deals.

Olivia Dunne was born in Westwood, New Jersey, and grew up in Hillsdale, New Jersey.

Olivia Dunne began gymnastics in 2005 at the age of 4 at ENA Gymnastics in Paramus, New Jersey. By age 14, she was home-schooled by her mother using the Abeka Academy curriculum while training with her coach, Craig Zappa.

In 2019, she signed her National Letter of Intent with Louisiana State University (LSU) joining the LSU Tigers gymnastics team in 2020. She excels in competing on floor exercises and uneven bars contributing significantly to LSU’s performances. In the 2023-24 season, Dunne matched her career-high of 9.9 on floor exercise twice and competed at the SEC Championships. Her efforts helped LSU clinch their first national championship title in program history at the NCAA Championships.

She currently resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with her boyfriend Paul Skeenes, a professional baseball player for the Pittsburgh Pirates and former star pitcher for the LSU Tigers.
