Rio 2016: Who said what, world reacts to Dipa Karmakar becoming the first Indian gymnast to qualify for an Olympic final

It was a historic start this Monday morning for Indian sport as Dipa Karmakar became the first ever Indian gymnast to book a spot in an Olympic final.

The 22-year-old gymnast scaled a total of 14.850 in her vault qualification, to finish 8th in the overall standings and sail into the final in her first ever Olympic Games.
