Biles has won seven medals in the Olympics including four gold medals, which is the most by any female US gymnast. At the World Championship, she raked in a total of thirty medals including twenty-three gold. Further, Biles has also won two gold in the Pacific Rim Championship.

Simone Biles did go into foster care as a child at the age of three. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Biles’ early life was marked by challenges and instability. Her mother, Shanon Biles, struggled with addiction and was unable to provide a stable environment for her children. As a result, Simone and her siblings were removed from their mother's care and placed into foster care.
She is the third of four siblings and all four were placed in foster care in 2000. Biles has spoken about her time in the care, mentioning how she became aware of the hardships the kids there have to face. However, Biles has not complained about her time there because she was, at least, there along with her siblings. Sometime later, the siblings were taken care of by their maternal grandparents, Ron Biles and Nellie Cayetano Biles.
