6) Roger Milla
Milla is probably best known for his exploits at the 1990 FIFA World Cup, his dance at the corner flag against Colombia has gone down in history as an all-time classic.
At the age of 38, he was the star of the tournament and four goals as Cameroon became the first African side to reach a World Cup quarter-final.
Born in Yaounde, Milla began his career with Eclair Douala and played for many different clubs at home and abroad in France with great success.
Four years later, at the age of 42, he became the oldest goalscorer in World Cup history by scoring against Russia in the 1994 FIFA World Cup. Staying relatively injury free and keeping a healthy lifestyle allowed Milla to extend his career to that age.
