News of the biopic had been brewing for some time but was for long rumoured to be called "Flicker Singh" owing to Sandeep's nickname. The poster as revealed by Diljit Dosanjh's Twitter post however shows Soorma as the name and highlights Sandeep Singh whilst the hockey star is wheelchair-bound.
The inspiring tale is set to showcase his journey to the very top of the sport and his remarkable comeback from the tragic incident that brought a stop to his career.
What's next?
The movie is set to release on 29th June 2018 and will show Sandeep in a light that has never been seen before.
