V. R. Raghunath - Captain of the Uttar Pradesh Wizards side, V. R. Raghunath is known as the best drag flicker of the team. He has been a regular member of the Indian hockey team since 2005. Raghunath lead his team to a third place finish in the inaugural HIL last year.
S. K. Uthappa - A clinical finisher, S. K. Uthappa is a regular member of the national team. Uthappa has played 21 international matches, scoring 10 goals. He is known for his incredible body feint and is deadly when pitted against opposition defenders. He is a key force in the Uttar Pradesh Wizards team.
Mumbai Magicians
P. R. Sreejesh - Sreejesh is the goal-keeper of the Indian hockey team. He was the custodian of the national team in the 2010 Hockey World Cup. The ace goal-keeper played an important role in the first Asian Champions Trophy (2011), in which India defeated Pakistan 4-2 in the final. His two crucial saves in the penalty shoot-out helped India clinch the title. Sreejesh was also a member of the team at the 2012 London Olympics.
Gurjinder Singh - Gurjinder Singh was named the Player of the Tournament in the 2012 World Series Hockey tournament, and he broke into the national team last year. A talented defender, Gurjinder may prove handy for the Mumbai Magicians team.
