Hottest property in world hockey, Belgium’s Tom Boon was the costliest player of Hockey India League Season 3 auctions after he was bought for $103,000 by newest entrants in the league Dabang Mumbai. Australia’s Matthew Swann was the second costliest player with Dabang Mumbai bidding $78,000 for the midfielder.

The surprise of the day was the return of former Indian goalkeeper Adrian D’Souza and Arjun Halappa.
