From the first quarter of the match, the Australian attack were hammering the English defence with their circle entries. The Aussies managed to quell the English midfield and kept pressuring the defence.

The English defenders were guilty of crumbling under the pressure and conceded quite a few mistakes inside their 25 yards. Tom Craig was able to get the second goal of the Australian side after Liam Sanford failed to clear the ball allowing the striker an easy finish.
