Florent Van Aubel was in fine touch in the Belgian attack

The attacking winger Florent Van Aubel made life difficult for the English defenders throughout the match with his menacing runs down the flank. He created the first goal for the Belgians when he received the pass on the left flank from Victor Wegnez and cut inside the England circle. He put in a great pass towards the goalmouth as Tom Boon was right on spot to deflect it into the England goal.

He created another chance for the side when his pass found Sebastien Dockier with an open goal but he put it wide missing the chance to put Belgium 3-0 up in the first half of the match.

Van Aubel continued to use his pace well in the second half as England increased their attacking pressure allowing the Belgians to attack on the counter.
