#1 Tom Boon
The lead attacker of the Belgium side, Tom Boon, was a constant threat for the English defence with his presence in their defensive circle. He was the lone man up ahead in the Belgian attack as they kept their defensive shape to repel the English midfielders.
He got the early goal for them in the first quarter when he deflected the pass from Florent Van Aubel in the eighth minute. He kept pressuring the defenders and had another chance at the goal but his brave deflection after a strong hit into the attacking circle hit the England goal-post. He kept playing with high intensity in the attack as they asserted their authority on the match.
