#1 Quico Cortes (Spain)

One of the best goalkeepers in the world, Quico Cortes, leading the side in the absence of Miguel Delas, did not have much to do on the day as France had just six goals on target, a majority of which were deflected away by top efforts in the defensive unit led by Charlet and Tom Genestet.
However, the 'Man of the Match' award was given away to the Spain keeper for his decisive save - off a penalty stroke by Hugo Genestet - as Spain managed to hold on and secure an important tie from the encounter.
If not for Cortes' save in the dying minutes of the final quarter, France would have undoubtedly taken the lead and the goal would have served as the final nail in the coffin and in a matter of sense would have compounded issues on France's qualification hopes into the knockout stages of this World Cup.
