New Delhi – The Indian men’s hockey scored twice in each half to defeat the Netherlands 4-2 at Rotterdam today.
India opened its account with a field goal by Chinglensana in the 10th minute. Ten minutes later Manpreet Singh scored another goal.
In the second half, India scored two more goals with S.V. Sunil scoring in the 52nd min and Nithin Thimmaiah then scored the final goal in the 66th minute.
The tour is a part of preparations for the FIH Men’s Hockey World League Round-3 (semi-final) to be played at Rotterdam June 13-23.
