Hyderabad Toofans squad for Hockey India League 2024-25: Full list of players after HIL Auction ft. Sumit & Nilakanta Sharma

Indian national team players Nilakanta Sharma and Sumit will be the key players for Hyderabad Toofans in the upcoming edition of the Hockey India League. They were signed for ₹34 lakh and ₹46 lakh, respectively, in the Hockey India League 2024 player auction.

Forwards Shilanand Lakra (₹21 lakh), Arshdeep Singh (₹11.5 lakh), and Talwinder Singh (₹14.5 lakh) fetched big bucks at the auction. Indian midfielder Rajinder was sold to the Toofans for ₹23 lakh.

German goalkeeper Jean-Paul Danneberg will join the Hyderabad-based franchise for ₹27 lakh. Indian goalkeepers Bikramjit Singh (₹6.2 lakh) and Vikas Dahiya (₹2 lakh) will be part of Hyderabad Toofans for the Hockey India League 2024-25.

Hyderabad Toofans' overseas defenders include Gonzalo Peillat (₹68 lakh), Matthew Dawson (₹10 lakh), and Arthur De Sloover (₹30 lakh).

Meanwhile, they signed midfielders Zachary Wallace (₹26 lakh), and Maico Casella (₹10 lakh) & also roped in the services of overseas forwards Timothy Daniel (₹28 lakh), and Terrance Pieters (₹10 lakh).

They formed a 24-member squad, including eight overseas players as the Hockey India League marks its return after seven long years.
