It promises to be a cracking Wednesday for the Indian contingent at the Rio Olympics as with as many 7 sports planned for the day. Jitu Rai returns to the range in the Men’s 50m Air Pistol and will be joined by Prakash Nanjappa.
Bombayla Devi and Deepika Kumari will compete in their Round of 64 clash in the Women’s Individual archery event. Dattu Bhokanal will compete in his Men’s C/D Singles Sculls semifinal.
The Indian Women’s hockey team will play Australia in the evening. Manoj Kumar begins his campaign in the Men’s 64 kg category against Evaldas Petrauskas while Satish Sivalingam and Avtaar Singh also start their weight lifting and judo campaign respectively.
