Shobhaa De tried to troll Indian athletes; slammed by Abhinav Bindra and Co.

It’s a lesson that Shobhaa De has learnt now on Twitter – not to mess with sports lovers, and more importantly, not to tweet about something when there is a slight chance of it backfiring. While people have seen controversial tweets from Shobhaa De before, this is something on a whole new level.

"Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity," was what she said.

Unfortunately, the tweet backfired. Because she got trolled again. Like immediately. There are like-minded athletes on Twitter who represented India some time or the other and as soon as the news reached the athletes, they blasted out in the most epic way.
