Six Nations Invitational Hockey 2016: Germany crush New Zealand, Spain fall to Argentina on Day 2

Germany have scored 10 goals in the first two games of the tournament

A superb hat trick by senior halfback Moritz Fürste steered the unstoppable German team to a massive 6-1 victory over the Black Sticks of New Zealand on Day Two of the Six Nations Invitational Hockey Tournament in Valencia.

In the first quarter itself, Germany had put together a comfortable three-goal advantage via back-to-back goals from Moritz Fürste and one from Jonas Gomoll in the 14th minute. Leading 4-0 at halftime, Tom Grambusch, and Christopher Ruhr struck in the 48th and 50th minutes respectively before Kane Russell hit home a consolation goal for the New Zealand team with one minute left on the clock.
