Paul Nicholls is looking forward to the imminent return of stable jockey Sam Twiston-Davies after seven weeks on the sidelines.
The champion trainer is planning to send a strong team of horses to the big fixtures at the weekend and is delighted Twiston-Davies will be back on board.
Twiston-Davies has been out with a damaged spleen he sustained in a fall at Chepstow on October 9 and has been earmarked to make his return within the next few days.
The Ditcheat handler told www.paulnichollsracing.com: "I'm delighted to say that Sam Twiston-Davies will be back riding for us again in midweek after missing the best part of two months with a spleen injury.
"He has been champing at the bit, raring to go, riding out here twice a week and working out in the gym every day so he certainly will not lack for fitness.
"We will give Sam a gentle introduction on Wednesday or Thursday ahead of a busy weekend when we will have interesting runners at Sandown, Chepstow and Aintree."
