#2 Deonna Purrazzo vs Mickie James made official for IMPACT Wrestling's Bound For Glory
Last week on IMPACT Wrestling, following the match between Trey Miguel and Matthew Rehwoldt, Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo attacked the former and hit him with a low blow. Mickie James then hit the ring and had the last laugh as she took out both Purrazzo and Rehwoldt with a splash off the top rope.
This week, James headed to the ring and called out the champion in an attempt to resolve the issues between them stemming the latter's attack at NWA 73. The two had a verbal back and forth following which James challenged Purrazzo to a match at Bound For Glory.
The champion dismissed the challenge, saying James had to earn a title shot and was not entitled to one. Things got physical as a brawl broke out between the two, leading security to separate them.
D'Amore made his way out and said that James is one of the pillars on whom the company is built and is deserving of the title match before proceeding to make the match official.
#1 Fallen Angel returns to IMPACT Wrestling
Earlier in the night, there was an altercation between Ace Austin, Madman Fulton, Christian Cage, and Josh Alexander which saw Austin attack Christian's eye. The match between Austin and Alexander was later made official.
The two put on a fantastic bout with back-and-forth action, with the latter winning with a C4 Spike. Following the match, Fulton and Austin attacked Alexander but Christian Cage made the save. However, the heels gained the upper hand and looked to demolish the faces.
At this point, The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels made a shocking return and took out the heels as he stood tall with Christian and Alexander to close this week's edition of IMPACT Wrestling.
