At IMPACT Wrestling's Under Siege, W. Morrisey won his big singles debut by defeating Willie Mack in a battle of two behemoths. The former WWE superstar pinned Mack with an unprotected boot to the back of his head.
The win wasn't sufficient for W. Morrisey as he attacked Mack after the match. He was about to bring in a chair, however, Rich Swann made his return to save Mack from a vicious beat down.
Based on what happened last week, IMPACT Wrestling seems to be moving towards Rich Swann vs W. Morrisey at Against All Odds. This could be the perfect mid-card match the company could book right now.
W. Morrisey made his IMPACT Wrestling debut last month and he needs to showcase his character before moving to the top. Meanwhile, Rich Swann recently lost his IMPACT world title to Kenny Omega at Rebillion. The former IMPACT World Champion needs a strong feud right now.
So for the company to have Rich Swann face W. Morrisey could be a win-win situation for both parties. It remains to be seen how IMPACT builds up to this feud starting on tonight's show.
